Routes
In this section of the Environment Configuration, assign Route and/or Virtual Routes to the Environment.
All of the listed Routes and/or Virtual Numbers in this section will then be able to be assigned to the created Spaces under that Environment.
Assign Route
A Route is the combination of an operator code (short, long, or alphanumeric) with a connection to deliver messages.
To add a new Route to the Environment, begin typing the Route number in the Input Text Field.
The Field will begin to populate with the available Routes. Whenever the desired Route is found, select it and click on the Add button.
Once the Route has been added to the table, click on the Save button located in the lower right corner.
Once added, the Route will then be able to be assigned to any of the Spaces created under the Environment. A Route assignment to a Space is done from the Space Configuration.
Assign Virtual Route
A Virtual Route allows to associate prefixes with Routes. These configurations are useful in scenarios where it is required to send messages by the same Route on different Connections.
To add a Virtual Route to the Environment, begin typing the desired Virtual Route in the displayed Input Text Field.
The Field will begin to populate with the available Virtual Routes. Whenever the desired Virtual Route is found, select it and click on the Add button.
Once the Virtual Route has been added to the table, click on the Save button located in the lower right corner. It will be displayed in the Virtual Route Assignation table.
Once added, the Virtual Route will then be able to be assigned to any of the Spaces created under the Environment. A Virtual Route assignment to a Space is done from the Space Configuration.
