Template Analytics
The WhatsApp Template Analytics section provides users with a detailed overview of their WhatsApp message templates' performance. It offers key insights into message delivery, engagement, and interaction metrics. By leveraging this data, users can assess how effectively their templates are reaching recipients, being read, and generating clicks on the Call to Action (URLs) / Quick Reply buttons.
To access the WhatsApp Template Analytics section:
-
Go to the Templates section on the platform.
-
Locate the desired WhatsApp template.
-
Click the Analytics icon associated with that template.
NOTE
WhatsApp Template Analytics are only available for templates in the Marketing and Utility categories. Templates in other categories will not display performance data.
Click Tracking analytics are only available if the template contains at least one URL in a Call-to-Action button or a Quick Reply button.
To generate performance data for Click Tracking analytics, the template must receive at least 1000 interactions and include at least one button (Call to action [URL] or Quick Reply).
This will open the analytics view, where you can monitor template performance using key performance indicators (KPIs), graphs, and other components.
Below the Template Name, it is located the Date Range filter. This filter allows users to select a specific time period to analyze the template’s performance.
Users can identify trends and performance variations across different time ranges by filtering data over specific periods, enabling better decision-making and optimization.
Below the date range filter, users will see tabs for each language the template is configured in, such as: English, Spanish, Portuguese.
These tabs allow users to switch between different language versions of the template and view performance metrics specific to each version. Therefore, the Language tabs provide a detailed breakdown of template performance for multilingual campaigns. Users can analyze how templates perform across different languages and optimize content based on regional audience engagement.
NOTE
When applying the Date Range Filter, the selected time period will affect the data displayed in each language tab. The KPIs, graphs, and clicks performance metrics will update according to the time period filtered, ensuring that the analytics reflect the performance of the template during the specified timeframe.
On the right-hand side of the WhatsApp Template Analytics Report is located the Template Preview. It provides a real-time display of the selected WhatsApp template, including its quality, category, and status.
If you want to edit the Template, click on the Edit Template button located at the top Template Preview.
At the top-right corner, the Export Report button allows users to download the template’s analytics report for further review or sharing purposes.
Once clicked, choose the template languages you want the report to include:
- All Template Languages: Exports data for all configured languages (default selection).
- Specific Language(s): Select individual language(s) by checking the corresponding boxes (e.g., English, Spanish, Portuguese).
